Aunt Riley
Here is the story of how Riley became "Aunt Riley."
Riley's big sister Jami and her husband Squire told Riley that she was going to have a little nephew. Baby Hepworth didn't have a name yet so Riley decided she would call him "Freddy" until he did have one. Sometimes she would call him, "Freddy Madison Jami Squire Hola Happy Penguin Hepworth." Her family (especially her dad) would joke with her and tell her the baby's name would be "Coco" - which Riley did not like at all! But, even with all the teasing, Riley was so excited! She even helped plan a big party to welcome Baby Hepworth. Riley thought it was so funny that these parties are called baby "showers." Riley loved to touch her big sisters' tummy, to feel the baby move and kick.
After her nephew was born, he had to stay in the NICU for a little while. No one under 14 was allowed in, so even though Riley had come all the way from Reno with her mom to see her new nephew, she wasn't allowed in the room to see him. But, the nurses were nice and set up a chair for Riley outside the window where her new little nephew was. Riley smiled at him and looked at him through the window and was such a good sport. Her nephew's name was "Lincoln."
